Just curious who you sell and why. I have clients with NCD (National Care Dental) and Aetna Senior Products dental. Aetna is cheaper than NCD and both use the same Careington national PPO network. NCD has awesome customer service and pays me better than the Aetna dental plans. Who have you found to have the best benefits for the buck for your clients and a decent commission for the independent agent?

Honestly I like Ameritas right now

I have it for myself and my wife and we are getting sick repricing above and beyond the coverage limits

the network is good
easy eapp
not too many client complaints

the are no great dental plans but this is good as I found, and I am super happy with the repricing I am personally getting

NCD is now exclusively using the MetLife network, which has exceptional discounts!

Yes, I've been with them from before they transitioned to MetLife underwriting exclusively. I love their plans, network, and customer service. Only downside is that they are a bit pricey.

I prefer self pay . . . makes it hard to recommend something I don't care for.

There's one dental plan I recommend for seniors when the ask. And it only covers two cleanings and an x-ray per year up to $500. it also has a very small vision benefit. It's the Anthem Extras basic plan and it's $19 per month. $228 per year for two cleanings and x-ray is worth it. And if the dentist is in-network, they get the discounted rates for other services. They pay a whopping 10% commission on it.

Hmmm... I think I like that approach actually
