I have posted before about my 90 year old mother having a Plan F. It was originally CLi and Aetna bought the company years ago. Premiums have been competitive but this year they had a 20% rate increase, $252.66 to $303.15. I have never in my career seen such. Anyone else seeing this with Aetna?

Yes

Run a report on CSG (or similar platform) to see how her rate compares with the market.

All the carriers that rotate subs every few years eventually start handing out double digit rate increases. Omaha, Aetna are some of the worst offenders.

Aetna is going up 20% in OK.

Look at the analytics in CSG, and see what the loss ratio is, it's over 100% for Omaha and aetna in several places.

If she has been on an Aetna plan for any number of years and is "only" paying $300 at her age I would count your blessings, regardless of what the current increase is. I can't move my clients off of Aetna fast enough. I have people in NC that have been with them around 8 years that are 15 years younger than her paying close to that...they can't move due to uw.

In TX, from 2021-2025 their rate increases each year on Plan G have been 8, 8, 12, 15, 18. That is not a good trend! This is the Aetna Health Insurance block.
