Agent of Record Change Letter

In order to save my BoB I need to have letters for an AOR Change. I am being advised these have to be in the client's hand writing and signed with Member ID on it. This comes from Humana.

I would like to know if anyone has tried having it typed... and just signed? I have several hundred I need to get done before Sept 5th and I want to be as efficient as possible.

Thanks!
Rick

Why do you need this? I have the official Humana " Policy Clarification-Agent Change of Record" outline for AOR change. I can send you IF you have a good reason for needing it it.

I've used a preprinted AOR change request before which I mailed to the client with a return envelope. I faxed it in, and voila, it worked fine.

FWIW...

Is there smoothing I need to be concerned with Humana?

I've only added Humana since last AEP
but I have used them enough to be concerned

Not unless your captive with them.

I guess it depends on who receives it. I have done a typed word document in previous years and it worked. This past fall I tried and it was denied. They told me it must be hand written by the client and give a reason why they request you as AOR and they said it could still be denied. I know this is not great clarification for you, just letting you know what I experienced.

Talk to your new GA and get his advice

And let the clients know what is going on, just in case you have to go back to them at a later date for something else.

The reason I ask is that my career position was been cut, so I am looking at going delegated or MECA. If I don't get the AOR I will lose all perpetuity.

If you change a client from one plan to another but still in the same company, they won't give you credit for it. But if I get an aor signed, will I start getting paid for it?
