Has anybody actually bought the Milewise insurance?

How has it worked out for you?

I drive about 2500 miles per year. The starting rates look tempting but they also monitor driving habits and I'm not sure I like that.

I sold it to a few people and it is very specific who it will help. Depending on the vehicle and the cost to insure that vehicle (outside of the use of the vehicle ) I had some older clients who did remarkably well. I think they had newer domestic vehicles and only drove to church, store, doctors office. Their quarterly premium was less than the old monthly premium. My own 2010 Mercedes does not save much one plan to the other probably due to cost of parts if I screw up.
