I have a client called complaining they lost their OTC really nagging
so I switched them to the HMO with better benifits for 02/01

Now they are crying saying they never wanted an HMO and even trying to cliam I never told them it was an HMO

So I need to get them back without a headace

Aetna said I can cancel but they would not be back to the OG Aetna plan

Only Medicare can back date that and you'll be thrown under the bus with a complaint . Disaster codes are history 4/1 as only Medicare direct can do . Technically a dst code in this circumstance is not supposed to be used because they never missed and election and used oep
