Hello Everyone,

I have some questions regarding mail-drops.

1) Is there a particular system for mail-drops. Are there more potential clients in rural areas in comparison to inner city areas or vice versa?

2) Are there any markets in the east coast, which might be considered saturated?

3) If you had to choose one state with the most demand which would it be?

4) Are there any agents who have had a great deal of success in the inner city areas?

I think everyone is going to respond differently. With that being said, I much prefer the city as the rural population out here is tiny. We don't really have an inner city as somewhere like Chicago has more crime in one day than Salt Lake does in a year. As for demand, out west (not that you asked) agents do very well in Vegas and parts of California.

I am doing FE over a year in a half in NYC ghetto.

I still am fiddling with zipcodes, some are better than others, returns are amazing, I order from Chris, the average return is 3-4%.

Those are great returns Jack. Do you always work in particular neighborhoods or do you also drive further places every now and then?

I actually don't possess a car, I take bus or train, & walk to appointments, lately all my appointments are in Manhattan, so every zipcode is walkable.

Card does not say life insurance, its the E64, I used to buy Securus leads that said life insurance, I don't see big difference in quality of lead, maybe its because Chris leads are fresher than Securus.

Until now, Foresters was my go to company, Columbian Mutual for smokers, Vantis for GI, lately though Foresters lowered their commissions in NY, more in line with other companies, since my Foresters contract is with Securus, its gotten very low, lately I tried out Monumental-Transamerica, contracted through Tod, for my go to company, lets see how it works out.

I didn't venture into Harlem, though its probably rich fertile ground for FE, I might mail Harlem in the near future, mostly my mailings are to lower Eastside & alphabet city.

Jack sounds interesting! I have an office in NJ, with the train station a few mile away, I always wondered if it would be worth commuting in for the day. Or maybe driving to Staten Island. Drive is about 1 1/2,. Are you door knocking or setting appts. I would think door knocking would be hard. but I guess you could get many clients within a few blocks!

How is your experience working in New Jersey? Do you also get similar results from your mail-drops?
