Average CSR Salary/pay?

Just curious as to how much everyone is paying for their CSR's. I am looking to add a licensed CSR on the P & C side to increase sales in that area, and trying to get an average of what is reasonable.

It's across the board. A lot of it depends upon the CSR's specific responsibilities.

I know brokers who pay their CSR's minimum wage plus a portion of the broker fee charged and people who pay their CSR's up to $25/hour salary. Some pay only commission.

I would start with determining how much revenue you expect a CSR to bring in, and go from there.

I agree with Desiree. The rule of thumb is that an employee should add 5 times more than they cost.

You should ask some of your agent friends in your area, and then pay 10% MORE than that to get a good one........
