Stumbled upon https://meet.webex.com

I do a fair amount of web conferencing, and have used Yugma in the past. However, I found Webex Meeting Beta version, and I must admit, it is very user friendly.

Just wanted to pass it along. I will start more web conferencing in the fall. For some reason, I get better attendance when school is back in session, rather than during the summer months.

Ummm, I signed up for it.

I'm sorry, allow me to clarify.

I do mostly small conferencing with people that are not in my immediate area or state, so I'm talking about just a handful of people. It usually is to current clients or referred prospects about specific products or ideas.

For instance, two clients I have in Texas (I'm physically in Georgia), neither in the same part of the state, are interested in the new modernized Plans. I can use the Benefit Grid and the Price List on Webex to show them, and answer questions from both of them at the same time. Beats having to make two separate, yet identical, calls.

I also use it in conferencing Assisted Living Facilities that are out in the boonies. They project it on their LCD, with several residents and families in attendance.

Hope that clears it up. Besides, just because I use it, doesn't mean it's for everyone.

YMMV
