Hello, I just recently got my 2-15 license to begin selling Medicare plans this fall. While beginning to go through the process of becoming appointed by different providers, I was called and offered to be a "Brokerage partner". My question is that I was told that choosing this option I'm not captive to the company and have the opportunity to become appointed by other providers as well. What is the underlying pros and cons of becoming a "broker" rather than continuing as an independent agent?
