Can a Life Company Refuse to Change

ownership of an existing life policy to another party if that is what the existing owner wants to do?

Well there is two parts.....the insured and the owner....so depending how the policy was set up the insured can be different from the owner or the same.... so the answer is the owner is the only one that can make changes to the policy......

If this something that has actually happened, what is the company saying? If not, why do you ask? Everybody is giving advice without knowing any details.. for example is there current or pending legal action involving the ownership?
