Can I Re-apply for the Insurance Exam???

Hi there everyone, For almost 18 month ago i did pass my insurance licence exam but for some legal issues ( that i took care of now ) my license was denied back than. So my question is " Can i re-apply for my licence??? I heard that i have to wait 5 years before i can apply again!!! Is it true or not.

Please i need some advise.

WoW What crappy answers...No one on her can give you a definative answer. The best advice is to pick up the phone and call your States Dept of Insurance and ask the question...You may be surprised at how helpful those people can be.

Did you keep the letter, from the insurance dept. As Norway said, the dept of insurance will give you the steps you have to take. You could apply of a waiver, for any past misdeeds. The dept of insurance investigations, make the FBI, look like local cops.

Why would you ask us, instead of just calling them and asking them?

It sounds like you were denied because of the legal implications. If you had just failed the exam, etc. then you could probably just retake the exam regularly (after waiting a 1-3 months). At least in California it was like this. I think if you failed your exam three times then you had to wait a few months.

Given that I have no idea what state you're in, I'd just call your state department of insurance and get their take on it.

did you appeal the decision of denial? If you did, did you choose the administrative hearing option?
