After reading a thread you can click on "Thread Tools" and click "Subscribe to Thread". Then a new window will come up and click on "Add Subscription". Now you will have started creating a list of threads you have read and you will be able to see when they have been added to.
When you are logged into the forum click on "CP User" in the top left corner. Then click on "Subscribed Threads". This will show you all of these threads.
When they are a light color then there is nothing new to read on that forum. When they are a darker color that means somebody has added something new since you last visited that thread.
