Free Rx Card-is It Worth It when on Part D?

Free Rx Card Deal ?

This is a topic in the General section. I am curiuos if this is in any way a help to seniors because of part D. If I recall correctly, your part D would be cancelled if you used a discount card also. I was with Pyramid in 05 when "D" came to be, the company had to stop sending out express scripts cards to med supp customers.

It wouldn't help on the co-pays. Maybe in the donut hole.

does anyone have any experience with the free Rx cards that pay you the agent each time a script is filled?

Whre will your Part D be cancelled if you use a discount card? Now if the question is will it be a benefit to a Senior with a Part D plan they are paying for...Well I would find it hard to believe a Free Rx card would help them...But the Free RX could help someone without any Rx coverage.

It would only be useful if the Part D coverage didn't cover a drug and the discount card gave a discount.

RNA offers that free with all their policies. I used mine to get 45% off my last pair of glasses.

Prior to Part D, the disc Rx cards were everywhere. Not so much anymore.
