GA New Citizenship Affidavit Form

Wow. You know, it occurs to me that I, as a legal permanent resident, would actually have an easier time proving that I'm allowed to be here than someone who is a natural born citizen since I have all the required documentation. Also, I'm used to having to produce this kind of documentation. This must be really annoying for people born here who shouldn't have to.

Do you have to do this EVERY time you renew or are they smart enough to figure out that if you prove it once you shouldn't have to prove it again?

We're talking about the state of Georgia here. Don't go overestimating their intelligence. While everyone else has moved to two year licenses with some states having licenses that don't expire, Georgia sticks with one year licenses.

It is now two years.

Please don't tell me Tennessee is busting on Georgia?:D We'll be seeing you in a couple of weeks between the hedges. Can't wait. The Vols are looking much better this year. Should be a good game.

We are going to two years now for renewals. But it looks like they are increasing the cost. It was $50 to renew, now it's $200 for two years.

Nice, now the license is two years, but costs four times as much. I guess the legislators took math at UGA. :goofy:

First we have to get through Florida before worrying about Georgia. Hopefully Dooley finally has the team on the right track.

Crap...I guess Maine is awesome as my license doesn't expire and no renewal fees (The state makes plenty on the appointment fees) I just have to do my 24hrs or CE every two years and that is down from 30hrs every two when I first got licensed.
