I am a Health & DI agent in Ca. I occasionally have an employer ask me about General and or Professional Liability.

Is it worth getting involved with, and are there any GA's that work with Indies for liability cases?

What are the downsides?

Thanks.

You are a funny man @Al3x Lee with a three. You truly understand that campaigning begins with 16 year old questions - even if you do not know th answer you strive with a vid. Out with RCV, In with ACV.

How Sir, would that apply to Prof Liability?

Perhaps @adjusterjack could help us here?

Professional liability is what I consider an orbital coverage in the system of ACV. While ACV may not impact professional liability directly, the benefits will surely be felt.

Since insurance premiums are calculated on the risk and potential costs associated with claims, if the costs related to claims, (such as medical, professional, legal damages, property repair, etc) decrease, insurers would adjust their premiums and appetites accordingly.

ACV is all about changes in the broader economic environment. It's a philosophy, a vision, it's so much more than insurance terminology. My opposition will downplay the benefits, but I ask you this, are you pleased with the current state of affairs? If not, do not lend the dinosaurs your ear, but instead choose to dream about the hopeful future of a true ACV utopia. I guarantee the benefits will be felt in all lines of insurance.
