For me its not just about the IMO/FMO but the Marketing Rep that IMO/FMO. Also they don't necessarily have to have actually sold annuities to pass along good info. Just some random thoughts.

Yes, I would like some recommendations please. I have spoken with Affinity Advisory Network and with IAMS. A little background on me - I have spent 17 years building a health insurance book and retired from that side of the industry last year. I am now looking to get into annuities and life. Thank you in advance for any advice or recommendations.

You might consider American Savings Life (Mesa, AZ) that writes up to age 95 and continues to pay full commission on all older ages.

As of 02/25/2025, their 1-year MYGA is 5.25% & 2-year MYGA is 5.50%.

Their currently in Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.

IAMS is excellent. I have been in the business over 40 years and have worked with many of the big IMOs over the years (and several smaller ones). IAMS has been the best for me. Consistently excellent service with annuities, many excellent tools for quoting and other things. I work with Matt Tooher and he is very knowledgeable. I think he has been there over 20 years.
