Anyone write for Grange in their biz? Seeing anything unusual stuff? Had a client get their HO deductible from 1.5k to 5k, no claims.

What? They increased the deductible? What was the base Cov A? or TIV?

Base Cov A was 535k. I am going to shop it with our other carriers, I am hoping it is not a trend.

IDK anything about Grange since I'm pretty sure they don't write in HI, but a lot of our carriers are now requiring $2.5k deductibles on properties based on age of the structure. I do believe this is a loss mitigation trend that we'll start to see more of (at least one of them)
