HELP! How to Keep Client Information Secure

I keep client files on my home office computer. What is the best way to keep that information secure and HIPPA compliant, but still affordable and easy to access?

For online backup, I use SOS online backup. Their website says they are HIPPA compliant. I have looked at bitlocker from Microsoft for encryption. I feel like I need to do something more in the case of theft of laptop. Curious what others are doing.

I use Box for client files and Dropbox for company things like blank apps, rates, etc. Box is HIPPA compliant, me thinks.
