How Get Appointed from MetLife

how can I get appointed from MetLife( auto and home not Life side) or other good company directly not through general agency?
I have just 2months experiences in selling P&C)

Metlife can be tough handing out GA arrangements so I'm not sure how you can go direct (short of becoming a Metlife agent)...why don't you want to go through an agency/IMO?

because when I quit, most agency take my book for 5 yrd.
then I have to start from bottom again. most IMO asking 3yrs experience..

MetLife P&C does not hand out broker/agent contracts to newby's. you must have an established agency with a book of business in force plus commitment of premium.

This is no different than any other P&C company out there.

Our agency is appointed with Metlife. They have a good presence in the life, investment and supplemental areas but their home and auto quotes are not competitive enough. About the only clients/customers that could possibly receive a decent rate will be the ones with perfect credit. And the majority of the time they will still get a substantially better rate from another carrier. I don't like the agent side of their site as it doesn't seem to have a good flow, but that's just me. It could be that we don't have many clients placed with them so we do not access their site very often.

You can get metlife, with any of the clusters. It seems they all offer them.
