I was told I need a good FMO/IMO, is there a difference, besides the letters? When I look into it looks like they would provide the same services.
I need tools, DM leads, good commissions, a place where I can call/email a question and get an answer right back type of place..
Im out here all alone, and Im scared, lol.

There is hardly any difference.
IMO = Independent Marketing Organization
FMO = Field Marketing Organization

Both pretty much do the same thing. IMO is usually referred to when talking about "Life" type of products and FMO usually related to health products.

So, like in our case, we are considered both an IMO and an FMO.

Thank you.
You guys carry SBLI? I been hearing so much about them cant find anyone who carrys them?

Call SBLI & ask them who does the most term production with them. They will tell you, then google for their phone number & voila.

P.S. since they do the most production, they're the most likely to give you the highest comp as well :)
Good thinking. Thank you

If I can offer somesomet else to think about in picking an upline beyond comp level.

You sound fairly new to all of this. Find someone that will give you time as well as product and underwriting help. At this point 5-10 points on a few policies a year means nothing compared to knowledge.

All IMohsoHO

You're absolutely right

IMO and FMO both offers benefits to independent agents and agencies and vary through different insurance industries. But, both IMO and FMO have one thing in common, they market, sell, and distribute insurance products.
