Infofree.com Unlimited Data Plan ?

Looks interesting, Mark. I see they have a "casino gamblers" database.

I think I will send a DM piece to them saying "Bet on roulette, not on your life and financial future. Call today for a guarantee you can safely 'bet' on."

There was another thread on this earlier.

Out of curiosity I signed up for their free trial (24 hour free trial takes no CC, might as well take it for a test drive) and here are a few things I noticed:

First, in their terms and conditions they don't claim to have scrubbed the consumer records: http://www.infofree.com/rsrc/docs/termsandconditions.pdf . Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

When I went to run a statewide count, they said that I should visit their sister site (Pricing, Money Back Guarantee- Database101.com) to run that count and as you'll see, they have the pricing on their records there which is much more realistic.

After running the counts, it looks like it's doing the same thing that SalesGenie does because when I went to download them (using a very user friendly search system) during my free trial it brought up a screen saying that I had to upgrade to a package to download the leads (which is fair), but it said that when I upgraded I would be able to do the following:

Unlimited Business Credit Reports
Unlimited Searched
Download in CSV format
Print Mailing Labels & Call Lists

You'll notice it doesn't say I can download unlimited leads, just that I have unlimited searches. I wonder if that was just an oversight or part of their business plan the same way Sales Genie caps the downloads at 2k/month on their unlimited plan.

Good info. Very helpful.

So I guess they include phone numbers, just not scrubbed against the DNC like someone elses are. LOL

I'm looking at a couple different companies that claim they have unlimited plans and a few say they are also scrubbed against the DNC list.

Mark I like what you do marketing all the time. Wonder what process works best for you. I been big in direct marketing.

The scrubbing isn't really a big deal. It's a PITA, but you get a SAN and some scrubbing software and/or have the compilers do it and you're in good shape.

Generally unlimited data plans are older, lower quality data, i.e. If I wanted to buy every record available right now I could get a pretty sweet deal on it, but then I'd have to be reselling the same list for quite some time to recoup my cost and then turn a profit. There was another post by someone (agentexhorter?) about the quality of data and how it can vary and while I don't know that I buy his numbers (or hers?) the point is valid.

Someone on here was asking me for a list and ended up going with ReferenceUSA instead to save a few bucks, then came back a few weeks later saying that 30%-40% of the data was garbage.

It's entirely possible that these unlimited data plans are legit and have decent quality data, but one thing I think Ray and I would both agree on is that it's extremely unlikely anyone is offering a truly unlimited data plan at that price without it either being old data or there being some restrictions on it.

I'm almost curious enough to spend the $40 just to see what it really looks like and what the fine print is.

You can get up to 5 area codes for free.

How many at a time will it let you download in a .csv format? It looks like that's the catch.
