Is this the Result of Slow Claims Payments?

The funeral home business must be one of the most shady industries in existence. These stories seem to get reported more and more.

Remember this one back about 12 years ago in North Georgia?

Tri-State Crematory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I got a lead card back from not only the funeral director (who is about finished serving his 10+ year term in jail), but also from the guy's aunt back in my Equita days.

The aunt said the mother was behind the whole thing, and that the son took the fall for her.

I had one prospect in Chattanooga many years ago who relayed her story about her Mom being cremated there.

She said they took her remains out to open water on the Atlantic, off the coast of Myrtle Beach.

When she uncorked the urn, and tipped it over to spread her remains in the ocean, the funniest thing happened!

The remains SUNK!

(FYI - ashes FLOAT, not SINK).

Turns out Mr. Marsh had given her CONCRETE instead of her mother's remains, and her Mom's carcass was found rotting in Marsh's basement, heavily decomposed.
