Does anyone know what the payment schedule is for Kemper for "As Earned"? I can't get a straight answer from them. There seems to be no consistency to as to when they pay me. Thanks in advance.

You get paid about the 10th of the month (Direct Deposit Date) following the previous months production for "As Earned".

The policy effective date is considered the paid date of a policy. They do not pay on issue unless it is the same date as the issue date.

They just hired a new VP and are moving their admin side to TX. Many changes are coming down the pike, specifically on their GI product.

I was told that they were "backlogged" on paying out as earned, which caused a month to pass before I got paid...this all happened last Feb/Mar (when they had moved new business from OK to TX).

I like the HHC product but I find it very hard to track my business (and down line business) with kemper. It's virtually impossible because no website exists. I was told end of January, then February, later I was told end of March and now it's the end of June.

F#%k that....

That company is so upside down. Ive never heard of any automated system being backlogged like that. Seriously. I truly believe the folks in OK were accounting using pencils and paper.

that's funny...we'll see if the new website for tracking business actually happens in the next few months...I changed from advanced to as earned with them to avoid chargebacks. I wrote one guy on a friday and he died on the following monday. That freaked me out because they were paying me a 9 mo. advance and I didnt want to take that chance with GI business.
