Skip The CFP Exam To Get The ChFC Designation First?

Michael gets a few of the details wrong about ChFC (even though he holds that credential as well), so I corrected him in a couple of places on his YouTube video link. The ChFC does have a 3-year experience requirement, but 1 year could be satisfied with a qualified undergraduate degree.

Also, should anyone here be curious about pursuing a bachelor's degree AFTER starting in this profession, Thomas Edison State College - a regionally accredited college in New Jersey - gives portfolio credit towards their BSBA in Finance for American College courses as well as FINRA licenses.

Why Thomas Edison State University?

It's something I may consider in order to pursue the MSFS from The American College.
