The peer review research for Protandim can in no way be described as "gold standard", "Tier 1", or "high ranking". All the published research to date has been lead by Joe McCord a board member and share holder with Life Vantage. This is a clear conflict of interest. To date there have been no independent studies. The journals that have chosen to publish the studies like Plos One have very poor reputations that include mass publishing. One journal that published a study actually showed McCord as one of their editors (another conflict). Life Vantage markets Protandim as if it was invented by Joe McCord. This is not the case. It was invented by Paul Myhill with no medical or scientific background. Those that distribute this MLM product make wild, medically unsubstantiated claims that it can cure all ailments inlcuding sexual disfunction, cancer, arthritis etc. Those that defend Protandim on this blog are blinded by potential profit or are deliberately misleading. I imagine many up until recently were selling Mona Vie.
