I've noticed they are back in TN (or replacing Western Life). I've heard positives about them in the past, but would like some info on it and you alls experience with it.
They are "generally" one of the more tolerable smaller carriers - in my opinion.
Pretty fair underwriting and rates seem to be decent even after a few years.
The eapp is the easiest around.. The signature amounts to typing in the insured's mother's maiden name. The rates are good, the household discount only requires that someone else over 60 lives in the household. The other person doesn't have to be covered by Manhattan. It looks like all the carriers are playing the Mutual of Omaha game of starting new lines of business.
