Does anyone know anything about the Medicare FLEX card that is being advertised now? What company is behind this and is it just another MAPD? What's the gimmick about and what are the additional benefits with this card? Thanks.

Bait& Switch.I had 1 of my clients text this to me regarding the Flex card. When he called of course it wasnt in his zipcode, which happens to be a large Metro area.,So they offered to enroll him in a similiar plan with more OTC. benefits. He told them he wasn't looking for an agent.Same client called and asked if GOHEALTH was a new healthcare provider received a text regarding pre-loaded Medicare benefits card, call 877-445-5576.

It indicates no oversight from CMS for call centers but multiple restrictions on Agents.

It's all bs. My are has a $50 food card with Humana for csnp for heart or diabetes . BUT the trade off is $150 a night more in the hospital and $10 more to see a specialist and the list goes on and on . There's the same jello for all in the bowel . How you divide it is the gig. This is now part of my presentation exposing all this . The call center is running a scam as we know to get the call. Just like this car is $9999. You call and adding everything in it's $12,300. 90% of the gig is the person calling . Once they do you got a shot to sell.

In Ohio Anthem has it as part of their MAPD plan(s).

Not sure if it's on all plans, but it was on the one I sold yesterday.

It's $500 "flex" towards dental / vision / hearing.

I don't have a problem with flex cards, I have seen them from Anthemn as well as Wellcare .It's the way in which it's presented. Some of this is just criminal.I had another client said he's been called multiple times asking directly for his medicare # because he just won the gold upgrade. This after he told the caller that he was newly enrolled for 12/1/2021 (T65)

Most are for additional d/v,/h. There a some dsnp with actual food cards for up to 100 in some areas. The ads for it are very bait and switch. They mostly think the flex card is gonna help them with their bud lights or camels.

Unfortunately 50% of dual customers lack the education or desire to use most of their benefits . It shocks me how many duals don't understand how to activate a food card . I bet 60% of duals over age 68 don't know how or don't text . I shake my head how so many people cam even survive .The lack of education in the low income mkt is eye popping.

I have a few plans that offer flex cards without Medicaid but they are usually with small networks.
These commercials are learning what people want to hear, "more dental, vision, flex card, money back in your check, benefits you deserve, etc". They combine all the best plans nationwide.
They are annoying genius's.
