Anyone ever use this? One of my clients is on a fairly expensive medication and it looks like she could get it much cheaper thru here.

Trying to figure out what I'm missing before talking to her about it.

caveat, not an agent.

Drug savings comes up in discussions from time to time.

Drug discount cards appear to be a legitimate source of savings in some cases.

Goodrx is a common card mentioned by agents on the site.

Last year I had to use a discount card for something, there was one already in my pharmacy account and its price was close enough to Goodrx the pharmacist did not want to go to the trouble of changing it.

Here is a thread with some good discussion/comments:

(If your client is interested in overseas options, progressiverx is another possibility-with that one you can pay in the us.)

I'm not familiar with MintRx, but it looks like an online pharmacy with doctor(s) on staff that can also write prescriptions for common ailments.

She should call MintRx and see if they accept her insurance. If they don't accept her insurance and she is forced to pay the private-pay price with MintRx, then anything she spends wouldn't go towards her Part D deductible. This individual drug may end up being cheaper than through her Part D, but she wouldn't get deductible credit towards her Part D. You kind of have to play the entire game of mapping out all of her prescription drug costs for the year and seeing what is the impact.

Sounds almost like self dealing.

3 docs and an NP that looks like George Costanza with hair

Good answer.

A lot of folks would not think of this.

Concur with Persistency FG with one addition.

There are a lot of free discount pharmacy plans out there. Some of them are bogus. They scam and obtain PHI and/PI. I suggest vetting the company out before you share information with clients. GoodRx Typically my go-to for my clients, (I do have others) and I've used them myself successfully. I will look into this one as well.

I didn't look at the site before I posted above. It just sounded like another discount card.

My impression of the site when I looked at it was a company trying to ride a new covid inspired telehealth business surge to a profit using hot button drugs for things like sexual performance and diseases and other areas such as antiaging. One would presume FL would have a good market for skin related products.

I would be skeptical. The caveat to that is that they do not carry my "expensive" med so it is an easy decline for me. Not sure what I would do if I saw an opportunity for a significant savings.
