Monumental Life Insurance Company is changing to Transamerica Premier Life Insurance Company. Just read this. Anyone hear about this?

Been in the works for a while.
Ask most DOIs, Monumental does not exist anymore, but Transamerica Premier Life does.

Is it one company or two? Is there Transamerica and Transamerica Premire Life?

Transamerica Premier Life is a subsidiary of TA, to issue policies that were previously issued by Monumental. I'm not sure which company TA uses for the FE policies that were already in the TA name.
To the client, it really won't matter. It will be from Transamerica and is probably more of a reserve and regulatory matter for TA.

The most convoluted app in FE...it sux the product is decent, can't help but to use them at times
Oxford, RNA, SLAC, Amcon, Foresters, Equitable just to name a few. Many moons ago 5 star would have been added to that list. Settlers so far.....we will see.

Is Stonebridge also the same for final expense as Monumental/Transamerica ?
