All the Products referred in Section "products/completed operations" are those produced by the applicant only, correct?

If a home repair contractor buys a product from home depot then installs it, the answer to the following question should be NO for the reason that he is not installing his own products?

"DOES APPLICANT INSTALL, SERVICE OR DEMONSTRATE PRODUCTS?"

or is it a better way to say "yes" then explain the products are made by others?

Don't know the answer to this, but would'nt it be easier to call the underwriter from your favorite commercial carrier and ask?

Think logically about this. A mechanic puts brakes on your car. The brakes fail, you have an accident... Who is responsible for the completed product?

You can argue both the mechanic and the manufacturer. Who will the lawyer sue? Both!!!!

Now, with this in mind, call the carrier and ask how they want to see it.

Thank you for all your responses. I left that blank and hopefully, knowing the applicant is a repair contractor is adequate for the underwriter to deal with the question. if not, I will explain when asked.

jhuang, thanks for the link. The course catalog looks pretty good, will seriously consider taking these when I get a little more business.
