Twice recently I've had clients ask me questions like, "I have no idea what drugs I might be prescribed in 2025, but just in case, which plan has the greatest chance of covering these unknown drugs?"

Is there any way to intelligently answer such a question? Is it even possible to recommend a "best all around" plan in such cases?

Caveat, not an agent.

No.

That is a crazy making process. (I have attempted to do that for myself on my own using CMS in past years.) The "best" plan can easily change when needed drugs change. (And your clients will possibly pay more for the plan that covers more of their hypothetical future needs. (I have done that for myself too.))

You do not have the time for that.

Stick with making recommendations based on the pharmacies and drugs your client submits on your fact finding form. And document your recommendations in whatever way(s) other agents suggest protects you the best.
