Many outfits using bs survey leads or $10 check mail leads to get 2-3% returns . You get a ton of SSI people making $800 a month or dead broke people just wanting a $10 check . The old lead of yesterday getting .8 to 1% will be $70 a lead soon . I bet in 3-5 yrs 90% of fe sold over the phone

I was waiting for you to show up . I'm 100% direct mail and my accomplishments are second to none . You act like cost of direct mail is irrelevant . It could go to $1500 a 1000 and you'd say no problem .

Believe me I'm not worried .As I've said i don't need insurance income to never work another day in my life . As far as insurance goes i can now sustain my big book of business with referrals only . But 95% of agents who use direct mail should be worried as 95% of those agents make less than $100k net a yr . Jd I've run as much direct mail the last 10 yrs as any agent at fex . But the truth is in 5-10 yrs legit direct mail will be a dinosaur . By legit i mean not an $10 gift card or survey lead .All these 40- 60 year olds the last 10 yrs are computer savy and are now filling out online . Ask yourself one thing . If direct mail is not dieing why is Rgi the last 15 yr king of direct mail blowing up my email to order mail direct now ? Even 5 yrs ago rgi would laugh at an individual agent going direct . I bet there business is down 70% from the heyday . There also pushing digital leads like crazy to stay relevant . They entered the Medicare lead generation to stay relevant .

Let it be known that as of Monday FEX Contracting will shut down all forms of direct mail due to due to Petey's prediction of the entire industry collapsing.

Man I'd like to meet this Petey as everyone talks about him . Some of your other top fe agents weren't netting jack shit and went into Medicare pretty much full blast . Jd and a few others obviously have done well but the truth is few few fe only agents net Jack. Thats why they get into recruiting . This is all i have to say . You and the rest of the recruiters get paid off gross vol . It doesn't matter what agents spend for leads . Whether Leads are $50 a pop are $80 a pop it means little to you . In 3 months I've netted more in Medicare plus fe than almost any one of your fex fe agents will net in the year 2025 on their own pen . Unless your recruiting pretty much every fe agent is a hamster on a wheel .
I have been hearing the same dire predictions every time postage rates have increased for the last 30 years. In 1991 first class was 31 cents. It is now more than double that. Bulk mail has had similar increases but agents still buy leads. With inflation the average policy size has increased and has that results in a corresponding increase in commission per policy which offsets the increase in lead costs.

Postage rates went up about the same % from 2001 to 2021 that they've gone up from 2021 through the increase in July . So that's 5 times the rate of increase . Plus returns in a generic old style fe mailer are 1/2 the rate of return as 10-15 yrs ago . Thus we have the deceiving $10 gift card check and survey lead to get hire responses . The fe demographic is under the most financial stress by 3 fold I've ever seen the last 20 yrs .
