I take several vacations a year. We just took the kids on a week-long camping trip last month. This month, I'm going on a short 3-day trip. Next month my wife and I are doing 2 weeks in Europe. And in July, we're going on a week-long Alaskan cruise. I am happy with my quality of life.Do you even get what I mean by quality of life ?
Are you a millennial?

She lives near a wealthy community. All she does is put flyers out in that community and pass out business cards at a yoga studio. She has 150+ clients who pay a monthly fee.
No leads to buy,no sitter a computer all day dialing. No appointment setters. No overhead.NADA.
Would you do that all day?
What's better, sitting in a car day starting at 8am getting home at 6-9pm running 10-15 appointments driving 1000 miles a week eating road garbage ?
Sitting at a monitor chained to a desk at home doing telesales?
Do you really think any of these gigs are sustainable for any length of time ?
Great way to spend your life ?
Are you going on the Alaskan cruise with CICA?I take several vacations a year. We just took the kids on a week-long camping trip last month. This month, I'm going on a short 3-day trip. As far as what you described for field sales, that's not been my experience. I put in 1 (sometimes 2) long field days a week. And I pack my own lunch daily, so I'm not eating garbage.
I agree with your take on telesales. I did it for a year, when I was brand new with a captive company. It sucked. I have actually described it as being chained to a desk.
Yes. And Europe is also a carrier trip, but we're heading over there a week early to get some extra sight-seeing doneAre you going on the Alaskan cruise with CICA?
How's cica paying those contestable claims with all the junk they took ? I wrote only 40 or so but they denied 2 already .Yes. And Europe is also a carrier trip, but we're heading over there a week early to get some extra sight-seeing done
I have only had 3 claims with them that I know of. 1 paid. The other 2 are still being contested. How's cica paying those contestable claims with all the junk they took ? I wrote only 40 or so but they denied 2 already .
I've had 5 contestable claims with them. They have paid 4. One is pending. I believe they will pay it.How's cica paying those contestable claims with all the junk they took ? I wrote only 40 or so but they denied 2 already .
That's pretty strong they paid 4 as they got a lot of outs . I mean in reality based on their app they took so many ailments as long as they were having treatment of the ailment.I wondered how they took all those risks and I look at pitiful 1% renewal commission they pay . There basically saving 6-7% a yr over most other carriers by paying renewals almost like a GiI've had 5 contestable claims with them. They have paid 4. One is pending. I believe they will pay it.
I had a guy with one of the top FE companies tell me yesterday that the industry average is 40% of contestable claims are paid.
That's the second time an executive at an FE company has given me the 40% number.
