I have been in the insurance business 32-yrs now as a life and health producer.
My office is in the border state I'm considering moving to . My residence is in Washington state. What is the process I need to go through in order to do this.
I hear that the state I'm considering moving to has a process whereby I bon't need to complete any pre-license training or examination. Does anyone know how this works? Thank you.

Did you ever think to call the DOI in the state you're moving to?

You could simple just pay the non resident license fee for the state you don't have then keep your resident state license up to date. Your non res license's follow which ever your resident state license is

I'd like to move to the non-resident state so that might be a problem.Thx

Call the new state DOI. In most states you will have a 30 day window to apply for the new resident license once you change your residence. It's pretty cut and dry for many states.
