Has anyone had any experience writing for Sentinel Life out of Utah? Any information good bad or neutral with your knowledge or experiences would be helpful.

1 of the worst companies I have never worked with.
I think that they are all related. Horrible customer service and claims. Foresters is AAA in comparison.

I would start with Todd king and Brad Aden. But the full time Final Expense guys can probably advise you better.

they are ok I do not write them. Underwriting was too inconsistent back when I had them.

I've only written med supps with them--about 70 clients--and I've had a good experience. No customer service issues, no huge price increases, and my highest contract. I'm writing mostly another company now as I find that the T65 crowd I primarily write aren't as confident with a company they've never heard of than one of the big carriers.

My experience with Sentinel Life is from a few years ago. And only with Life Insurance. They sucked back then. Can not speak for today. I still get calls from some of their orphans asking if I can help them get a response from customer service. As I remember they had a cheap mailer.

I have emailed them several times, since I posed this question,asking basic questions and I have not had one responding email returned. Not real excited I am.....
I had the FMO that I use for AARP beg me to give them a try for UW Med Supp and Final Expense. Against my better judgment, I sent them two cases for Med Supp and FE.
They were both declined for both products, and both cases were placed with the next carrier that I used. It was about a year ago, and I haven't used them since that time.
