I know a lot of you guys use x lite together with whatever dialer you're using. I just decided to give a dialer a try and am having trouble setting up x lite pro. I keep getting a 'registration error:408 - request timeout'. I've been trying for an embarrassing number of hours to get it to work w no avail.
The dialer I'm using is vanilla soft. Taking advantage of their 30 free trial. From what i understand you have to use the username and password provided by vanilla soft. The username used to login to their website/system is the email address so i put in the email address. Put the password used to log in to the website. For authorized user I put the email address again, display name i put my first name, and domain i put vanillasoft.net. Register with domain and receive incoming calls is checked. target domain is selected. and in the dialing plan field is" #1\a\a.T;match=1;prestrip=2;
In the topology tab discover global address and discover server are selected. Use xtunnels is set to never. In the presence tab it is the defaut peer to peer. I've tried presence agent to no avail. In the advanced section, send sip keep-alives is checked and use port is checked. Session timer prefernce is set to none.
I've messed around with the settings a lot before setting everything back to default. When it calls anynumber it just says call failed. This person is not avaible. Tried it on my number as well.
I've also called vanilla soft support but business hours are monday to friday.
Anyway, if anyone can help me get this set up i'd appreciate it. I'd like to get everything working tonight so I can start dialing those calls tomorrow. Thanks
P.S does anyone know what other options to connect there are for mojosells. I may give them a try if i can't get this xlite thing to work for vanilla. I saw the demo and you can send the calls to your cell phone for an extra $25 but that wouldn't be an option for me. Aside from that would connecting through a soft phone like x lite be the only other way to get mojo working?
