Thanks in advance for any feedback here....

I have a 64 year old male client, normal height and weight, NT- who just received this feedback from Midland on a fully medically underwritten plan: "After careful review, regretfully we are not able to offer coverage due to the client's liver cirrhosis, biopsy findings, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, and thrombocytopenia noted in the medical records we received from Dr....."

I am not familiar with the extent of these and my staff will go to the client to get more details here, however what questions should we be asking to determine what simplified issue or guaranteed issue options are out there?

I would write him a GI and move on. With liver cirrhosis the best he would get is graded and GI will be most likely with the rest anyway.

Thanks Newby, your thoughts on most competitive rates right now? We only run across maybe 1 GI case per year....obviously we will run this through you.

I have them shoot me a text, may be need to be a graded but I'd try lbl first.
