Staggering Numbers!!

I should've added your agency to the list because that's where I got the idea to "get my Sag on".

I've mostly worked the West Michigan market so I don't know the east side as well. I'm considering working my way around the "MBS" area for a few months. Any experience with Bay City and Midland?

Not as good as Saginaw.....More Low Income in BC. Midland not so bad.

I like the Grand Rapids area also. We work it from May-Oct. Thinking of actually opening an office there.

Over the past 6 months I have been to Bay City 4 or 5 times, with mixed results. I always thought of Bay City being a ghetto type area, but it is actually quite scenic with lots of good views of the water.

Same here when I worked Bay City. It's a smaller amount of lower income and you get a carry over of higher income and pension money. Midland is a harder nut to crack for FE with all the Dow retirees with good pensions. There is money there, but not a good place to mail for FE.

Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Flint, Detroit, and some other areas that are smaller but still ended up being solid areas for me are places like Muskegon, Battle Creek, and Adrian.

I would also order leads up north in the summer to work. You have to drive a lot more, but its worth the view and the folks are very pleasant (at least for the most part). If you golf, its the perfect time to work leads their and get onto some of the best courses in the country.

Most yuppers don't mess with funerals or cremation. They just take em out into the woods and drop em off.
