Success with Quote Wizard?

Difficult to get credits for bad leads from. They do not read the notation with the return so you end up calling back, getting somebody on the phone and simply ask them to READ what was with the return back to you aloud. They get about half way through and you hear a meek "Oh" from the other end of the phone. Which is great if you weren't doing that every week a couple times or more.

I've sent them credit requests for people who have been dead for 6 months. Even shared the internet link for the person from the funeral home in the return notes. Still had to call it back a second time. Nice people for the most part, but man they need to learn to read.

I thought I would give them another chance and was going through the process of giving them a look. The sales rep was sorta pushy. I explained I had a pretty full plate and would take some time to decide as I have an active practice along with some other issues. As the month came to an end he started getting pretty pushy and he killed the deal. Told me I was stringing him along....

Well had several small groups and individuals with Obamacare and in my state it was a huge cluster fk. I had groups changing plans all at once to get there by 1/1, which turned into 2/1 but really was 2/10. I had to deal with angry customers because the system was a mess. I was dealing with angry customers as well as running my 85 year old mom into various doctors offices and into surgery during this time. I let the guy know I was tied up, and he went for the hard close and basically killed the deal.

family and clients take places above people who want to take my money. Sorry that's just how it is. Making sure my 85 year old mom can see again takes a level of importance greater than quote wizard.

Sounds like a case of greed there.I'm sure quote wizard makes plenty of money thats terrible!!But as a new agent I've encountered so called friends who gave me referals then found out my commisions and wanted something in return and refused to give me referals I said"Go get your license and sell yourself" they still havent done that lol and I'm still making sales but greed brings out the worst in people :(

That's interesting. Say what you will, but at least they are acknowledging you. I doubt netquote, or insurme would do that. The only other company that would do that is Bob at Hometown Quotes, they listen to you and do everything they can for you. Also, Bob recommended QW as well.

I don't know the circumstances of this correspondence, but I know I've lost my cool a few times with a rep. I did it to day with my att provider, and I felt bad afterward.

But what I think lead providers also need to understand is that, we are in the business of selling insurance. Not requesting credits. Every time we have to take time out of our day to do something like get a lead credit, we lose money. If I had to pick up the phone to call the lead vendor, every other time, to get a credit, I would be ticked off too. Our time is valuable. I hope this can be resolved for the agent.

I'm starting to purchase some renters leads from QW, we'll see how it goes.

Hey guys it's the sales rep Mr. Gilmore dealt with at QuoteWizard!

I'm sorry to hear you were dissatisfied enough to post this here. I'd like to take the opportunity to apologize, there was never an indication of extenuating circumstances.

You became very agitated with me over email, using all caps, coloring your text to convey anger, etc. Naturally that didn't rub me the right way and a minumum order of 6 leads was...well call me greedy but it's small potatoes for 3 weeks worth of emails that could have easily been a 10 minute phone conversation.

Again I apologize and I was out of line. Let me know if there's anything I can do to earn your business. You have my email, or maybe we can actually talk on the phone this time :)

If any of you have questions about QuoteWizard fire away. I'll check this thread periodically.

We are the largest privately held lead generator in the industry. Being privately held is a huge advantage because we actively listen and change products to suit our agent base. But we're also large enough to invest actual capital into our lead sources whereas a lot of the smaller guys don't have the money to invest into high Google PageRank, good sources, etc.

Hougie?

"I'm sorry to hear you were dissatisfied enough to post this here. I'd like to take the opportunity to apologize, there was never an indication of extenuating circumstances."

I don't know, I thought I was pretty clear, at least enough for that point in our relationship. "You're 98% there. Don't push it. I have a few fires to put out right now, and will get back to you. SOON". This was on 1/30, 6 days later you had your fit and lost the deal.

I know there is a segment in the industry that preaches overcoming objections, but that doesn't work with everybody. And you became pushy trying to close a deal you had closed right up to that last strong push.

The fact that I was communicating with you several times really meant you had the deal. The hard push killed it. Remember I told you why I left Quote Wizzard before? It meant I had experience with QW before and I left. So wouldn't make sense that I would be slow before coming back?

"How many agents max? " Can't highlight on this post, but this is what was highlighted.

"You became very agitated with me over email, using all caps, coloring your text to convey anger, etc. Naturally that didn't rub me the right way and a minumum order of 6 leads was...well call me greedy but it's small potatoes for 3 weeks worth of emails that could have easily been a 10 minute phone conversation."

That is the extent of the text you received from me that was highlighted. I have all our emails and I can't find a single one where I used all caps. The only reason I highlighted what I did was you hadn't answered it in previous emails. And by the way, we hadn't even gotten to the number of leads for any deal, that is pure fiction.

And frankly since I still have all the email communication, I'm calling shenanigans on your post here. You sir, are a liar.

Would you like me to post our entire email string and everybody can search through and look for the email all in CAPS and highlighted to express anger?
You let me know, cause you are a walking, talking reason to do these type of things via text. I can't show people phone conversations because without recording I can't prove something happened or not. I am more than willing to post our entire back and forth if you'd like.

You have done QW no favors by coming here and making Shite up about what went on between us. You should have noticed I left your name out of this and now I wonder if I should have been that considerate for you.

Good luck and I hope your boss doesn't venture here.

You've done more to damage QW than I could. Lying is NEVER a good idea, especially when written words are involved.

Yes, I recommended QW to you as I've got a couple agents using them that need more volume/type lead than I can provide. These agents told me they were having success with QW, just not as good as with our leads...:)

I can't speak for all the sales people they have. If the above had been posted by one of my folks, I'd be pissed. I was always taught, & I teach myself: that the customer is always right! Don't argue with him or put him down! [Even if he's wrong:)]

But that being said, I got to meet 2 of their sales reps in Atlantic City last week at a Nationwide Agent meeting & I'd say they were well liked & loved taking care of their agents. As a matter of fact, one of you even called Alyssa out as being very good in a prior post & I would agree. I'd hire her if she wasn't in WA myself!

Larry, I know you & I know you didn't treat/react to anyone the way you were portrayed here. You are a very knowledgeable agent & are always a pleasure to talk to. Yes, you don't pull any punches, but you are a straight shooter.

Even though this sales rep was not all that he thinks he is, I'm positive from what I know, he does not represent QW's attitude about agents. I personally know the President of QW & other's on the leadership team of this company and they are good people. We all know, we are no better than the people who represent us with our customers. Unfortunately, this sales rep had a very bad day & did a darn poor job expressing himself in writing.

fla2cali. I do not believe you made a mistake giving QW a chance. Let us know how your experience works out.

I don't know about that. The customer is often wrong, just as the salesperson is too.

I do know, going to your customer's favorite hangout, punching him in the nose and proceeding to tell everyone how he is a big loser is often counter-productive.

Sometimes we just need to learn to bite our tongue and let it pass.

Yea, I'm going to try their renters insurance leads, try to cross sell auto. I just don't believe any lead company can give me my homeowners sweet spot.
