I am in the process of upgrading the companies I can offer P & C insurance through. If you guys had to pick your top 5 favorite companies to offer policies through, who would they be. If possible, tell me why. Thanks.

What markets are you best suited for?

This is one of those questions that nobody can really answer except for you. Its somewhat like asking what is the best size clothes for me to where when nobody has seen you. Hard to answer.

My advice? Talk to the carrier reps and have them explain why you should represent them.

I think the area of the country you are located in has a great bearing on this.

What would you guys suggest for Ohio?

I'm in Mississippi and my customer base will be individual for car and home as well as some small business. I know a lot of the builders and commercial property guys from my days as a builder so I am also interested in insuring their commercial property as well as my own.
