Transunion Captive Training

I wanted to ask what everybody's opinion on their training? I am going to be training with transamerica and I asked him about how they receive leads. He told me aside from the project 200 they would give me a "block of business", I could pay for company approved leads, and I could do cold calling. He also said they would give me a salary for four months of 3300.00. Has anybody trained with them or can I get some opinions on this. I really like how versatile Transamerica.

Can you elaborate? I am not sure what you mean exactly by that.

The clients you will get are the old Monumental debit route clients in the assigned area for you. No insurance company "gives" anyone a salary. Your production will have to justify that "salary." You can go the indy route with Transamerica and have a higher contract. The "project 300" is an absolute joke. It's BS. Sell your friends, relatives, and aquaintances, and they own that business. I like Transamerica'a products too. I'm appointed with them on a brokers contract..

Transunion is a credit reporting agency.

TransAmerica is an insurance company.

I hope we can get someone to rename this thread. It throws me off wondering how captive you can be at TU.

I just realized I wrote that as the header. How would I change that?

Yeah, I don't like the project 200. I don't mind calling friends and bringing them up to date with what I'm doing and if they need my services I'll gladly help, but I won't push them if they're not interested. I did that back with MassMutual and it was a complete disaster. Anything on their "company approved" leads as well? I'm really interested in the training programs more so. I have a lot of work to do on my cold calling techniques and presentations.

On Monday I'm also headed to NY to visit New York Life

NYL is going to be the same except no book of business, no salary for 4 months and no company approved leads. I have never worked a debit but that is how agents used to work there some agents on here that swear by them others try and flip the clients to bank draft so they don't collect premiums but it is how agents became a trusted advisor years ago and got multiple bites at the sales apples in the house.

Can you explain whatever you want to know from us? 3300 worth salary for four months is very less.
