Hello,

Does anyone have a good source to save Medicare clients money on this drug? When I go on the manufacturer's website it says that patients with commercial insurance can save money on it but not people on Medicare. I looked at GoodRx and there is no savings there. The client is currently on a Medicare Advantage plan. Looks like their overall drug cost is coming in at half of what it would be on a standalone PDP which is interesting.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Trelegy is $700 per month retail. I have a CIGNA PDP and my cost is $42 (going to $47) per month. Now, that I am in the donut hole, it is $162 per month. Don't know of anything that would make it cheaper.. The PCP and Pulmonologist office often have sample they give out if requested.
Tgg relegy is $700 per month at retail. I have a CIGNA PDP and my cost is $42 (

I'm looking at overall annual cost. So the cost in the coverage gap is also what I am looking at. What are you paying in the coverage gap in 2023?

I'm on Trelegy.
I'm on Wellcare' Value Plus, No deductible, $47 a month copay until the Hole in July, then $176 a month the rest of the year. Not sure if I'll switch plans for 2023, waiting until the last minute to see if I have any new meds.

Thanks for the info, that is pretty much what I am seeing for that client on their advantage plan.

I was hoping someone had some magical answer about a savings program they could use. Breathing is an expensive endeavor these days

If you have Part D, most of those coupons they put out won't pay.

yeah that is true. I had one client that could get a better price on Xarelto by using their manufacturer discount. I haven't had much luck with any other drug. And that one was only good if the copay was going to be above $75.

I just decided to go with Silverscript Plus. No deductible, $47 copay for Trelegy(everything else is $0 copay for my other 6 meds), and I won't reach the Hole because the retail is less than half of what it is with Wellcare'. I spend half the year in the Hole with Wellcare. Wellcare' not looking so good this year. Bye bye Wellcare.

I have to wait until late in AEP to see if my wife has to start taking Repatha, an expensive injectible cholesterol med. She already takes an expensive HBP med, Edarbi.

They will work but you cannot use them along with the Part D. It is either or.
