Vimos Tasteless Tactics

I just thought I would warn any new agents about some of the tasteless tactics that I have grown tired of with Vimo. Vimo has a garbage policy of forcing agents leads to turn back on every seven days. That way when you are nice and busy, and have important things going on, your leads can pile up in your email and Vimo gets paid. I will be the first to admit I am sour grapes on these guys. The lead quality has been sub par at best with a higher than average amount of disconected numbers and ton of agents calling on each one. The only reason I stayed with them for as long as I did was because they were fairly inexpensive and I could off set the quality with quantity. The thing that has pushed me over the edge was the total lack of broker support. The one time I asked for a credit I got an attitude and and my account shut down. All they had to do was take care of a good customer for $25.00 worth of leads...but that was too much to ask.

I won't even mess with netquotes health leads.. they're primarily garbage. Same with vimos in my experience. I have a lot of luck with netquotes medicare leads though.

62.5% contact, 62.5% qualification rate, 12.5% closing rate this month for netquote medicare.

Compare that with netquote's health leads, they average 30% contact 30% qualification, 0% close rate for the month, before I turned them back off again. That was off 20 health leads, 0 for 20 was bad enough for me to turn them back off again.

The data is IMO incomplete until about 2 months from now once I really have had a chance to completely work the leads, my feeling is thought that about 2.5-5% should close in 3 calls or less, and netquote's health leads don't average that. Part of it I think is the lack of filters.

Allwebleads is delivering higher volume in same area with higher closing ratio and basically exactly the same system of contact. Strangly, more bad numbers and bad leads, but higher close ratio, again, I'm going to blame filters.

By metrics, I'm going to add more area to netquote medicare leads next month.

Yep your right it only takes a few seconds to do it. The beef I have is that they do make you do it! There is no good reason for a lead provider to make you have to remember to turn your leads on and than back off every so many days. It is a programming choice made by Vimo to get agents to buy extra leads weather they like it or not. So I am exercising my consumers choice and telling the 10 agents that I work with not to use these kinds of companies that play theses stupid games. If the lead quality was red hot than maybe....but that is not the case.
