What's with All the Boo-hooing Stuff About the New York Prosecutor?

46 more prosecutors asked to resign in addition to the ones that have already quit on their own and somehow he is special? Why because Chuck Schumer assured him that he would be kept on and Trump asked him if he would be willing to stay on if asked?

Looks to me like he played his cards wrong. He should have submitted his resignation but also stating his willingness to serve if requested in deference to the current or any president. This is the honorable way to proceed - playing brinksmanship with a president is not the smartest game in town.

Oh, and yes I get that he is a bigtime prosecutor who aggressively went after all sorts of government and wall street corruption. Let's see now, was the Clinton Foundation in his district? I see. Just like some muslim enclave in sweden or britain, the Clinton Foundation was a no-go zone when it came to enforcing the law.

Let's have a quick refresher course for our libtard friends here with the selective memories. Bill Clinton appointed a "man" name Janet Reno to be attorney general whereupon she summarily fired 92 republicans in a single day- one of them being Jeff Sessions. And that is different how? Oh because Trump's firing of the new york prosecutor made Chuck Schumer cry because Trump led him to believe that the prosecutor would be kept on. MAYBE CHUCKY SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT THROUGH WHEN HE PUBLICLY CALLED FOR JEFF SESSIONS TO RESIGN. YA THINK? He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer by any means.

Honestly, seems to me that if he'd simply offered his resignation, it might have been refused.

That he was a complete douche about it and publicly said he wouldn't, I would have fired him, too.

Douche.

Correct. You are pretty smart for a white guy. As I said "he should have just offered his resignation but stating that he would be honored to continue serving his country in that manner if requested by the President." As you so delicately put it: DON'T BE A DOUCHEBAG!

I heard some crapola on the big teeeveee that he may be grandstanding because he is considering a run for governor. Whatever. I don't exactly see how that works. Maybe if he had immediately resigned after Trump was elected he could use that as a grandstanding statement that he will not work for neanderthals like Sessions and Trump- but it's too late for that ruse because he already met with Trump and told him that he would be pleased to stay on.

He needs to stop being a puzzy anyway. He is a bright guy with ethnic and big city cred and will re-appear as governor or congressman and then senator in the near future. Show some backbone for gawd's sake. Take off the tampon and strap on a pair.
