Who would you guys recommend for email? SHould I just get is from Godaddy? I got the domain names from them (not that it matters). Does it make a difference on the email providers? Sorry in advance if the question is stupid, I am very new to owning a website.

It depends on how you plan to use email. If you need it just for low volume communication (below 1000 emails per day), I would advice (I use it) free small business gmail.

I've used yahoo for years and years. I think I pay around $20 per year. It works great and I've never ran out of storage.
You have your business name as the address which looks more professional too.
Example Bill@smithagency.com

Yahoo is one of the worst services to use if you're receiving insurance related communications. They are notorious for blocking senders who they deem are spamming. "Insurance" is one of their keywords for spam.

I cannot tell you how many times Yahoo has blocked my IP (at least 5) which means if I'm sending you a message, you'll never get it. If the sender doesn't feel like jumping through Yahoo's hoops so they're not designated as a spammer you'll never end up getting that message.

I'd switch to Gmail.

We use Google Apps which includes Gmail...Suggest using the Free version versus the per seat (mistake on our part). But very happy with it and everything comes from 'yourdomain.com'.
