Working Through More Than One MGA?

I am a new life and health agent that spent the first six months months of my career in the NAA multilevel hype arena. I have terminated my NAA contract but can not write for the carriers under their umbrella. I signed a 12 month no compete as part of their contract. I have an opportunity to join an established independent P&C agency that currently does not carry L&H. My question is regarding MGA relationships. Is it OK to work with more than one? I have looked at the websites of several and I find qualities I like in more than one.

In general you can have as many as you'd like. Odds are you should be able to find one or two that handle most of everything you need/want.

Wise and Super VIP posting Guru please offer your counsel on finding an MGA.

I'll echo Josh in pointing out that you can have as many as you'd like. And for the most part, you can change an MGA as often as you change your shirt in most cases (just watch their policy regarding releases, shouldn't be an issue, but still a few sticklers out there).

If there is anything we can do to help you, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here.
