Is it true that is usally take 12 to 18 months for residual income to kick in? Will I get some back pay for the months the did not pay me?

The reason you don't get those residuals is because they advanced you those months. So no, there is no back pay. They forward payed you.

write an annual premium and you will get residual pay in 12 months when they pay again.
