2026 Proposed Rule

Geeze sure hope this doesn't pass. Only one I'm seeing that would help would be directories being accurate on 10/1.

I pretty much already do everything else.

Trump issued a "halt/stay" for any pending policies that were scheduled to pass from the Biden administration. Nothing to worry about.
I'd be very worried what Trump gives Medicare . He's cutting stuff left and right to pay for his mass deportation and to keep or increase tax cuts

I'm not worried I hope he does defund Medicare it will be the best thing to happen before the mid terms, defunding Medicaid does nothing at the polls, Medicare and social security will show up at the polls,

His track record is strengthening Medicare and Social Security, and that's what he said he's going to do this time around. Putting Dr. Oz in as head of CMS signals a huge strengthening of Medicare Advantage, and I know he will also shift funding back to original Medicare, too. He wants no tax on Social Security, either. He is cutting all the wasteful crap, and strengthening the things that matter.....Medicare and Social Security matter a lot.

Amazing we had four years under trump of Medicare plans having the best commission raises i've seen, the plans expanding and improving more in my area than ever, and even tweets from him praising MA and yet here we are in spite of all the obvious (as to which party is the biggest danger to the industry including all the moronic regulations they install which hurt small time agents) we have the same lib posters here expressing all their doom and gloom. Being wrong time and time and time again just isn't enough for them obviously.

Yup....our commissions were way better/more stable, and plan benefits for Medicare recipients were the most generous of any time period. It's genuinely astonishing to me that anyone questions this. We literally lived through it. All commies (I won't even call them Democrats, because they're not real ones) do is stifle big and small businesses. As a result, prices go up and benefits get worse....not just in insurance...everywhere.

Most, if not all, of the proposed rules impact MA and to a lesser extent, PDP.

Is this the end of managed care plans? Not likely, but it could force many of the weaker players in the MA game to pick up their bat and go home.

The federal government has a history of unintended consequences. ERISA essentially killed the defined benefit retirement market and replaced it with money purchase plans and the 401k structure.

Agents like myself learned to adapt and move forward while others faded into the sunset.

Without cleaning up the border y'all won't have to worry about govt. agencies ... including Medicare.
