I saw in a Facebook group that Mutual Of Omaha is raising rates by 40%. When does this happen for current clients, and where do I find this?

Other carriers have high increases that I saw, but this was the highest

A UHC Med Supp client (F/71) in PA notified me yesterday that her plan G is increasing from $182.92 monthly to $210.22 in June, then in January it's increasing to $219.72 monthly.

I told her numerous x to consider Plan N, but until now she refused. She should be able to pass uw, so I'll move her.

Most of the rate increases I've seen over the past 4-6 months plan G and N seem to be rising at the same % . Wait until the full claims affects of all those GI med sups hit from the termed mapd plans . Theres no question with United's shocking earnings another huge round of termed plans coming in 2026 . Unfortunately med sups is becoming the place the sicker people go to with termed plans and sicker people stay . Adverse selection is hitting hard .Even though mapd in upheaval i expect big sup to mapd movement during aep . The massive rate increases forcing peoples hands . One of the true reasons hospitals and drs hate mapd is they get stiffed with the copays .
