We all (hopefully) send thank you cards to our clients and prospects after meetings. At least, we should.

My wife (Hannah) writes all of my thank you cards for me. She is a stay-at-home mom (Our son, Brent, is 1 yr. old), and she wants to help out in the insurance business. Writing a Thank-you card is a simple task, of course, but it's one less thing to do in a day, which frees up some time for both of us.

As soon as I get done working with someone, whether over the phone or in person, I'll send my wife a text message with minimum information. For example:

Jane Smith
123 Main Street
Monaca, PA 15061

Once I send that text to her, I know that the next morning the Thank-you card will be in the possession of the USPS. My prospect will get the card in a few days. I don't have to think about it - once I send the text, my prospect or client gets a card. Every time. We have a simple message for the body of the card, and it is the same every time.

Well, since I don't pay her :D, she wants to make this available to some other agents who would like to make use of a simple (but valuable) service.

Now your Thank-you can can be on it's way before you leave the driveway of your prospect/client (if face-to-face appointment)!!
Your handwritten thank-you card may reach your client before the application arrives at the home office!

You can order 10, 25, or 50 cards.

If you order 25, then you can text her 25 times, and each time you text your prospects information she'll hand-write and send out your thank-you card. You don't even need to "keep track" of how many cards you've used out of your 25, she'll do that for you and let you know when you need to reorder.

Nothing can be more simple! You do NOT need to go online, you do not need to pay large start-up costs, and you get handwritten cards. Just send a text (If you can't text then let me know - you can send her an e-mail but I'm not posting her e-mail address on the forum).

What about the price?
The price is extremely generous for hand-written cards. As you'll see on the price sheet (attached), your cost is very low. If you are writing your own thank-you notes, then you are paying too much already! (Your time is valuable!!)

Now, you don't have any excuses for not getting those cards out!

Do yourself a favor, save some time, and try it out. You'll love the convenience and efficiency. Print out the order form and send in your first order today!

(Orders will be processed using Squareup.com)

Re: Admin Help - Send a Thank-you Card with a Single Text Message

I forgot to mention this: Many of you probably put your business cards in your thank-you notes. She can do that too. Once you decide that you want to "Text to Thank-you," if you'd like to have your business cards included, just send a batch of cards to my wife and she'll put one of your business cards in each thank-you note.

I heard a recommendation by Bill Cates to put your client's/prospects name on the back of every business card that you send them as a way of generating referrals. Just let them know that when they share your business cards with friends, you'll know whom to thank.

She'll write the prospect's/client's name on the back of your business card if you'd like her to do that as well.

That is an awesome idea. So much better and more personal than signing up with a company that simply sends out a printed card. The cost is very reasonable. Will she purchase cards that say "Thank You" on the front or will she create her own?

Any agent who is "too busy" to do it themselves would be foolish not taking you wife up on her offer. I wish I had thought of it. :)

Thanks Frank! We appreciate the "endorsement."

Yes, she will use official "Thank You" cards. She'll use a variety of different styles (just to keep things interesting), all of which will be very tasteful with the intent of keeping a professional image for all of the agents.

I have a feeling that once you place your first order you will find her work to be well worth the price.

Scott, this is excellent!

As you know, we recommend doing this with all customers so offering this service to others is a great opportunity for agents to be able to A: retain their customers and B: increase referrals.

Great Idea! I like the personal touch!

Thanks! Personal touch and less expensive than the online services for most people.

Now if the old guys on the forum only knew how to text....
